We had his party at Gymboree in Buford. He played, played, and ate maybe a bite. When all was said and done he was worn out! The party lasted just long enough for him. Thanks to all who c

Well...........it has been a ong time since I wrote a blog. Been a little busy with LIFE! During the past year we have had lots of ups and downs in our life, but who doesn't. My son has brought so much joy to my life that I can not even describe it. It is the BEST thing in my life! We have chosen and life has chosen to make changes in our life. With all the changes going on in our life, I know GOD has a plan. I ran across this verse from my friend Heather's Blog and it just fit perfect with my life.
"For I knw the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, " plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Jerimiah 29:19

You guessed it.....more pool time!
Well it's been a while since I last blogged! You would think I have plenty of time being off during the summer.....but some how that time gets full with other things. Several things have happened since I last wrote. First of all Tony's parents, including his grandmother moved to Ocala,Florida. They are officially retired. Wow, its crazy knowing that now I have relatives that live out of state for once on my life. Don't get me wrong, we will def. miss them being around. But on the upside we are going to visit in a couple of weeks for our vacation. It's about 45 minutes from Daytona Beach. Very exciting!
Well Jackson is almost 5 months old! He is getting so big. All he does is chill, laugh, smile, nap, and eat! What more could he ask for. If you read my last blog I told you that we were working on putting him in his our crib. Well that happened this week! He slept all through the night! I think I got up more than he did to check on him. It's a mommy thing I guess! He also started eating cereal and babyfood once a day. He loves it! It's like he was born to eat! I hear ya on that one! Maybe that's why I can't lose that 10 pounds, guess it runs in the family! HaHa! He is changing everyday!
Just about every other day we go to the pool, Melissa's or my parents pool. We love hangingout with our friends of many ages!
Also, Meliss and I are about to start serving on the Kidzu team at our church The Vine. We are going to start teaching the 2nd and 3rd graders. We also went to our first mommy and me with some fellow church moms. It was great getting to know them a little better. Well what can we say.....we love kids! Can't get enough of them even during the summer. We are every excited! Now maybe I can figure out how to make my blog cool and put some picture up! I need my pro blogger Heather!!

Pool time for Jackson

Well my summer as started off pretty well. Jackson and I have been at the pool almost everyday with our friends. Jackson loves being outside. As long as his back is not gett wet he is good to go in the pool. Hopefully by the end of the summer he will be loving it! Two of my best friends are also teachers, so they are with us almost everyday. We alternate between our neighborhood pools and my parents pool.
Jackson is getting so big! He goes next week for his 4 moth check up! Hopefully he is gaining some serious weight! I can tell he is getting longer for sure! Hope you are enjoying our pictures!

Well the week ended good........only 15 days left of school! I have the whole summer to spend with my little boy. The week started out being very sore. I have several pounds I would like to lose, so I have decided to start out jogging/walking with Heather. The first day was awful! 3.5 miles on my first try. Talk about out of breath! Heather was way ahead of me the entire time.....that's OK though. It felt great when it was all over. My 2nd time we ran, we did 2 miles down main street. That was so much easier it felt like. Hopefully it will get easier and I will get back into shape soon.
Friday night I went to a Women's Conference at Blackshear Baptist church in Oakwood. It was very refreshing! Jennifer Rothschild was the main speaker, but we also got to hear Mark and Kathryn Richt speak. Angela and I also got our pictures made with Mark on Friday night and Katheryn on Saturday morning. The conference was Friday night and Saturday morning.
Tony has a softball game every Friday night, so we Maggie got to babysit our baby while we went out separately. Tony was in charge of dropping and picking him up! THANKS SO MUCH MAGGIE!!!
Well this afternoon we have done NOTHING! I have been on the computer playing around instead f cleaning house and doing laundry which is way over do.
Jackson does not sleep in his crib yet.....but we are going to start working on that. As I write he has been asleep in his crib for about an hour.......that is a record! Later on tonight we are having dinner with Tony's parents. Yummy!
